Located northwest of the southern island of Kyūshū, Ogimachi Iwakura and its lush mountainous setting, is the northernmost district of the city of Ogi
Nestled on the foothills of Mount Tenzan which supplies it with mineral-laden springs, the Kura borders Kiyomizu Falls and its sacred guardians that overlook Kenryuji Temple
The town of Ogi is bordered to the south by the Ariake Sea and its maritime influences
